I have never used mine. If my watch gets filthy, I use my shirt...if I get paint, motor oil, grease, etc. on it, I use laquer thinner and a rag. Or I just wear it in the shower.
This change will not impact my life one bit. |

I live close enough tithe Rolex Canada office that anytime I'm near there I stop in and ask for one and the ladies at the service department desk are always happy to give me one.
I will hang on to my supply just in case

More yoga pants! There you see; nothing is ever 100% bad. Sometimes you have to look for the silver lining.

Same when I bought my SDC4K in July.
No worries since the Rolex clothes were useless. Looks like they have however issued monogram clothes at 2014 Baselworld... who gave a try? |

I do use mine to rest my watch on my bed side table at night. I'm gonna go scour eBay and buy every one I can get my hands on before this news gets out to the masses. I bet the price for these babies is going to skyrocket! |

I thought I received a polishing cloth, but I found this picture showing what was described as a protective cloth on the left and a polishing cloth on the right. I only received the cloth on the left with my Explorer which I purchased 3 weeks ago brand new from an AD.

I just called a Rolex Service Center. They are sending me a polishing cloth for free!
I think they send polishing cloths only at the request of the customer from now on. (Since it is not included in the new Rolex watch boxes). |

My new Sea Dweller 4000 had the new box with no cloth.

The last napkin I got was from a dealer who wrapped the bezel protector in it. Before that, a dealer wrapped a Jubilee bracelet in one and mailed it to me.
I do use the latter to rest my watch on it overnight. |

Rex Poising Cloths
Couldn’t disagree more with the majority of people on here!
Being provided with a decent polishing cloth when buying a good quality which used to be a standard. Not having a cloth is insulting. It’s like buying a car without an interior. The cost to Rolex is minimal; people usually use a cloth to clean the watch??? Strange remarks saying they’re useless -SERIOUSLY??? |

Even the just-arrived low-end $400 micro-brand came with a nice polishing cloth. Rolex should also give some serious thought to using quick-release spring bars as much as possible.
