I have a 6.5" flat wrist and I found it too large and top heavy for my taste but Mike is right, it's all subjective. The 116600 was a better choice for me in the end.

Like people say try it and decide for your self, but I just got one and traded my Sub and feel it fits me better and looks better, my finance says it looks better than my Sub and she loved that watch. In my opinion it does not look to big or is to heavy but it is a personal choice.

It's probably going to wear pretty large on you. I don't think the weight will be that bad. I would definitely try it on. I looked at one last Friday what I bought a new YM...and (while I loved it) it just didn't speak to me.

This.

I have a smaller wrist than you. I was looking at purchasing a SubC but that went out of the window when I tried on the thicker SD4000. Yeah it is thicker but was a better fit and balance due to the different lugs. So you never know if something will work until you put it on. "Big" and "too big" are relative. That being said, the DSSD is massive. You can go back and forth online all day but need go try one on. I think that SD4000 is right in your wheelhouse though. Give it a try also. Take pics!

The DSSD wore too big on my 7-7.5" wrist. I think is it a combination of the shape of my wrist vs the thicker case on that model. The case sits higher, resulting in the case back being uncomfortable when wearing.
