This thread fails. THe OP hasn't told us the bezel insert or the whole bezel ring with the bezel insert in it.... I'd guess the latter... Either way.... its a crap shoot. Depends with whomever you work with at RSC, Rolex seems to be really inconsistent when it comes to handling these kind of issues |

Have the same problem myself. Every time I have "fun with the wife" (aka sex), the bezel pops off. I wouldn´t be too concerned. It's quite normal among WISs.

I sometimes can't help but feel that the clamour for pictures is nothing more than some form of self gratification at someone else's misfortune....
To the OP sorry to hear about your watch, the best and obvious thing to do is to check with RSC however to me it should be covered under warranty. |

Still in the honeymoon phase, I see. After 10 years, you won't need to worry anymore. You will be the only one touching the bezel.

I can not see, in any way, shape, or form Rolex replacing the insert under warranty. That just sounds like the dumbest thing I ever heard. You smacked the piece, "bezel popped out" and now RSC should replace for free? You'll never be able to prove that bad boy didn't take a WALLOP, and they'll say the bezel is "within spec" and no way or how it should have "popped out".
I'm sorry this happened, I'm all about customer service and warranty work being completed in a fashion that suits the customers satisfaction, but asking them to replace a missing part is like me heading to the BMW dealership to ask them to replace a wheel or tire because the old one "popped off". |

Here's an earlier thread for a BLRO which fractured. Cost 1K USD to replace and install.

Tough one as bezels/inserts are not supposed to come off either within or without warranty. If you are in San Francisco, go see Giovanni who is one of the few Rolex watchmakers certified by Rolex USA to perform warranty work. If not near SF, then chat with Rolex Dallas and go from there, but Ceramic inserts should pop off if there is no other discernible damage.

Maybe OP just wanted to run a fancy brand name through the muck?
Cheers, Ben |
