Great suggestion! This will be my next step.

EZ Peezy!

only kidding.

Yes, if you sell it with box and papers the serial # should be in the papers.

This sounds like a slim to none chance. Just for sake of argument, it might be in the new owners interest to know as he stands to make a buck or two off someone that is obviously quite motivated. :)

That's the spirit.

If you fell in love with the first identical twin, you'll quickly fall in love with her sister. And then you can tell all your friends you did 'em both, pretty cool.

I know this is a long-shot but is it possible to find a Rolex watch previously sold simply by using it's serial number.

The watch was a M series SS white face Daytona.

I see that you are located in Canada. I doubt this is going to work but you never know. Good to keep an open mind because you just never know. Did you try calling Rolex Canada? I mention this because I remember wanting to know if a Rolex that an AD is selling is new or new old stock. The lady at Rolex Canada said to me that if I give her the serial number she can verify when the AD got the watch. I bought my watch in Switzerland so she wasn't able to help me because they only know about Canadian ADs. Worth a shot. Good luck
