Interesting. Many years ago, I was under the impression that 10% was the absolute best that one could expect at retail. Obviously there are dealers that will sell for less if our "TRF trusted sellers" can reliably get watches low enough to mark them up and still sell below typical retail.

Talking with my (now closed) mall AD, they weren't willing to deal, but that was just one place. I have a relationship with a manager at another dealer, but I haven't gone to see him since he moved stores. Maybe I should (thinking BLNR).

When I was in Rome this May I asked AD for best price for TT Sub with Blue dial. I was offered 15% off from MSRP and minus 22% VAT if i expert it from EU. If I remember correctly final price after deduction of discount and VAT was around 9,000 EUR.

I am not Sub fan but have to admit that TT Sub with blue dial looked really awesome.
