Feel free to x2 x3 this if you chose to judge people based on their merits and not their sexual orientation.

Ellen always has great watches

As you guessed, it's the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph 18k Rose Gold 41mm with Black Dial. This watch would make me dance the happy dance all day long.

Whenever I see a watch I dislike here (and that is very often!) I do my best to move on to another thread.

Anyway, good luck and best wishes to EdG from me.
It's not the watch....

Did you get that from the fuzzy pic or an inside scoop?

Ellen has a great watch collection and I've seen her wearing the Platona among many others. I do not watch her show, but it is nice to see a celebrity who actually loves quality watches.

Ellen always has a nice watch on...and she has her own style and I personally think she is cool.

It's hard to believe there are so many haters out there...she's not really polarizing and in general appears to be a great person.

Who said anything about 'sexual orientation'??? Can you please explain your comment??

Interested why you threw that out there when no one brought it up.

She has a great collection and I'm glad that's a Nautilus, just wish she'd wear it tight on her wrist.

Mostly because it's pretty obvious. For the sake of this not getting political, I'll end it there.

What is 'obvious'? Commenting with 'x2' to "no comment"

Yes it's Tom Hanks. Robert DeNiro and Robert Redford were also there.

I do not believe that the tone of this post represents the spirit of this forum, if so it is not the place for me. I'm not comfortable with it and I'm a straight woman, not that that should matter.

Ellen was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her courage and efforts to see us treat one another with kindness. She also has a bad-ass watch collection. I am thrilled for her.

It's clearly indicated (ridiculed) in the post just referenced.

Well, it doesn't seem like I'm going to get an answer to my question and instead this thread took an ugly turn.

Pity!

Ellen has been brought up here several times due to her strong watch collection.

Once or twice before it's been met with a slew of strange comments like here.

Ellen is receiving a prestigious honor for her contribution to the LGBT community. The only other topic here is her watch collection.

What is it that you and all the others dislike about ellen?

Must be her platona?! Or is it her 5980R?

Please enlighten me.

I don't like her humor, comedy or even TV show it's actually that simple (can I not have an opinion now--??). I just don't think she is funny.

I do like Platona and 5980R, nice watches indeed.

It's ok Tom. Happy Thanksgiving.

I just thought the no comment is a weird thing to say but there's no place for argument on TRF during thanksgiving.

Enjoy your holiday and incoming car

Half the people in this thread didn't read the comments. It's clearly a rose gold 5711. Not sure where the chronograph Black dial comment came from. The photos clearly show which watch it is?

Relax !!! Are we not allowed to have a sense of humor ?
I have LGTB members in my family so your comment is null and void!
Was just being silly but I guess political correctness knows no bounds.

Unfortunately its all about perception, whether its meant that way or not.

When we make comments or in this instance "no comment" about an individual that can provoke polarizing beliefs, opinions, human nature sometime assumes the lowest denomination.
