there is still a seal on the stem even with the crown unscrewed right? you could prolly swim with it in a normal pool and nothing would happen.

I had to read the post 4-5 times and looked at the picture and some of the comments before making any sense. You mean you left the crown unscrewed. I'm sure there is no harm done even if you went for a swim. Like others said it is sealed even if the crown was left out.

I was confused at first by winder lol. My first thought was he left it outside the window as some say "winder" in the South. Its a Platona 116506 based on his avatar.

It's the crown which was left unscrewed and doesn't need to screwed in unless at depth. Unfortunately for those in the UK, English is a second language. Also true for those focused in STEM disciplines.
