Thanks guys. I can see this is a daily wearer as it seems to fit any situation. Unfortunately I may let the DSOTM and Bluesy go to cover the cost. I'm starting to go back to being a 1 watch kind of guy (excluding the Apple watch). I had no plans if buying another watch but could not pass this beauty up. After having so many big 45 plus size Omegas I really like the 40 size now. I love the bluesy but I'm finding its a little bit too blingy for my taste but I love the sunburst dial just yellow gold does not suit me.
I was on the list at the Boutique here in SF for a year and that's after buying 3-4 pieces from them. It does seem like after a year we are seeing more and more 500s and I hope all you guys that have been waiting get yours soon. I doubt Rolex will flood the market as they always like to keep the SS Daytona a bit exclusive but I think we will see and end to the 20k ridiculous prices hopefully. I don't think we will ever see the day where you can just walk in and buy 1 out of the display case as its always been. |
