Thanks. It worries me that the sales manager of the store had the same experience with the same model, only worse. His had been sent back to Rolex for repair three times, and the issue wasn't resolved.

Welcome. I think you should have the watch looked at properly so you don't cause more damage while trying to fix it on your own.
