Thanks.
Bought it from a private party on Chrono24.
It came with a service invoice from the seller's jeweler which was pretty unhelpful.
All hands moved, date wheel and day wheel too, but after a few months it would lose minutes up to hours a day.
Took it to my local watch repair shop, and he had it for about 6 weeks and could not get it working.
I was directed to ART of the Watch in Portland, OR by an omegaforums member.
Kelly Hunter is the watchmaker. He said it was a cracked driver canon pinion. He had the part in stock (amazing according to him), replaced it and did some additional work on the date wheel.
I will re-post in a month or so to see if it is still working. I am quite happy given the various reports of the difficulty in getting these watches running.

Interesting and thanks for sharing. The offset canon pinion is the weak point of this movement. The tension has to be specific for the hands to move. Once the tension is off the hands stop or become intermittent. It is amazing your watchmaker had one.

I found my 7020 was somewhat heavier than my 7021 sub. Nice heavy and substantial watch. I miss it

Update on my 7020 repair.

Driver canon pinion had to be replaced.
I have had it back for about 2 full months.
Working great. Date-Day functions working perfectly.
It has lost less than a minute in 2 months.
I would recommend ARTOFTHEWATCH in Portland OR.

From additional internet sleuthing, Olivier Chambert in the UK would also be a good choice to get the AS 1895 running again.

Congrats! My 7020 is one of the few watches I would not part with.

I know that parts for the AS 1895 are extremely hard to obtain, but if anyone knows where I could get a set of Tudor HANDS for this, my hour and minute were twisted and straightened and I'd love to upgrade them because I also love this watch. Anyone have a set of hands lying around? Most grateful!

OK - same size as Tudor 390 and ETA hands 1.50, 0.90, and .21 sweep so plenty of ETA hands will fit, just need to make sure correct length
