Well that kind of falls under the umbrella of freak accident in my mind, although I should have said incident. Anyhow, I suppose it depends on how small that percentage is.

This has nothing to do with the steel itself. It's a function of the end link construction - specifically the pins that hold the individual pieces together.

Had this happen on a 116718. No biggie, as SearChart pointed out it´s not noticeable with the end link in place and the integrity of the end link is not compromised.
