Yeah - I agree it's hard to play the waiting:betting game! Thanks and cheer sir you. It's an incredible piece and something I've immensely enjoyed wearing already - much more than other watches I have.

So, I scooped up my AD's last GMT. He said it just came in as a part of their last shipment of the year. I did pay a slight "premium." I turned down the "package deal" and instead traded a watch I wanted to get rid of. I believe I lost about $2k on the trade, but given impending price increases (brings it down to about $1.5k), next shipment not until February, inability to find the price anywhere else (checked four states over last month or two), the fact my AD has saved me thousands on other watches and has been great on other trades, I decided to proceed.

At first, I was frustrated about paying a premium and disappointed in my AD. However, I recognize he has a boss and I've never received less than a 15% and often up to 25% on pass rolexes and other luxury watches, I decided why not.

Also, I didn't want to wait for Basel World or track the market closely over the next couple of months. I love the watch, supply seems to be decreasing after this most recent influx in the States, based on multiple shop sites; and to me, and most importantly, its the perfect watch. I love the jubilee bracelet, so comfortable. The sport clasp is amazing. The colors go with most of my wardrobe (a bonus) and the blue lume is stellar! When the new Pepsi came our on jubilee, I was hoping they would do the same with the Batman! I'm glad they came through and after waiting since last BaselWorld, now was the time!

Huge thanks to everyone's perspectives on the forum. The debates, counterpoints and data were invaluable! Thank you!

First 2 Rolex models I originally wanted to buy were the Batman and the DJ 41 blue dial. Blue was my attraction and still is. This new Batman is even sexier in my opinion, like the jubilee bracelet. Congrats, looks perfect on your wrist.
What’s your wrist size? You seem like wearing it a bit lose?

Thanks! I'm a little under 7". Took out one link and I do like it a little loose.

I too was torn between the DJ41 Blue and the BLNR/Batgirl. I landed on this one as I felt the DJ was a little more dressy and I have a dress watch I prefer altogether. GL!

Beautiful! How long have you been waiting? I am on the list at my local AD but I do not get a warm feeling feeling that it will be a short wait. The word I got from my sales rep was that she would let the owners know I am interested - whatever that means. It has been a month and they shared it would be about 12 months. Yous gives me hope but I am not into the games thay play!
