You pick the wrong time to purchase your first watch. I would wait until I can hold and try on a watch. Buying it online take away the true experience of buying a watch.

Not a bad time for negotiation on price though

is the best advice, imo! And if you do like wearing a watch then save up for a Rolex Submariner (i.e.no date). That is the iconic Rolex, a tough, versatile watch that goes with anything! I speak from 24+ years of experience wearing one every day!

The Tudors for me are more casual with their vintage styled aesthetic. There’s nothing wrong with this, but probably less versatile to be worn everyday, especially if you’re in a suit for work. I own a Tudor and as much as I love it I think they work better as part of a larger collection.

Speedy for me is a fantastic watch and one on my radar for some point in the future. But it’s limited and not suited for the water sports you have identified.

However from your list, my choice is the Omega Seamaster. I’d go used, get the last gen and add the adjustable clasp. You won’t take the hit on depreciation and these can be picked up relatively low cost. The clasp adds improved comfort. It has the date, it’s a sport & dive watch and it’s suitable for all the occasions you have listed. Yes it has the helium escape valve, but this disappears once you’ve had the watch on wrist for a while. This was my daily wearer for almost 2 years and didn’t miss a beat. It remains in the collection, though is enjoying a well deserved break whilst some of my more recent acquisitions take up the wrist time:

Can’t quite BC new account; apologies:

I have the same seamaster. Where’d you buy the adjustable clasp? And how’d you put it on? Want to do that for mine too. Cheers

The clasp is from omega and I installed myself. I can’t remember the exact part number but if you do a little research I’m sure you’ll find it. If you pay your Omega boutique a visit they’re usually pretty helpful and you’re allowed to order parts. GL!

What you can’t afford now you’ll be able to afford in a year or so. Don’t settle for anything but for the one watch you’re ayes and heart sing when your look at.

It could easily go to the opposite direction.

I feel like anyone can pull off a white dial. The size is another issue, though I do not believe 42mm is too big for a 6.5" wrist. I am probably the minority on that though. It has a thin profile so it should fit under your shirt easily enough depending on how your shirts are tailored. When I tried it on I felt like it hugged my flat wrist pretty well.

My advice is to save up until you can afford the watch you really want. Otherwise you likely will just end up buying it later.

Out of your list, I think the Sub is probably the best suited as an all around watch (would be acceptable with a suit). The explorer worked for James Bond in the books but some here think it is even less formal than the sub (personally I would wear it). The others I think would be tougher with a suit.
