Excellent thread. Big thanks to OP Rob but also David, Clay and all the others that provide detailed insights on almost any detail a WIS might be interested in...

The first time I saw the Green Bloodstone DJ at AVW Instagram I was blown away. And I am every time I see it again.

I think we missed the Datejust 31mm Mint Green dial option.. although it's mentioned in the original post as 28mm, looks much different here.

Hey powerfunk and ultrarolex, it would be also interesting to know which green dials exist with t swiss t and t swiss made t designation on the bottom. Especially for the degrade dials, as it appears that there are stella degrade enamel dials and also ordinary lacquer degrade dials. And I have heard from one person that lacquer green does not exist, which means t swiss made t green degrade doesnt exist and all you see are aftermarket.

But this statement is not valid for red and blue vignette dials. As for the brown ones, I dont know.

And I have also seen green degrade swiss made dials which apparently use superluminova. Not talking about the sunburst hombre from 2019, but a degrade version on five digit models.

Also wondering what it means if the fading extends to the outer rim or if its limited to the center and then keeps being black throughout most of the dial.

Not sure if the tone itself for the green dials changes from dial to dial like monochrome stella does. You can almost say 10 green stellas will have 11 different tones, lol. You never see 2x exactly the same hue of green it seems.

Same questions as for the degrade green I have for matte green t swiss t and t swiss made t, also not only for yellow gold models but also for white gold!

I will also make a separate thread regarding all degrade colors, but this one for green fits here perfectly as it seems to be the degrade color with most open questions.

Best regards fellow collectors!

I saw this at my AD close to home It was in a group of watches that came from an estate. Just a few weeks back. I assumed that the dial was fake, but it really makes no sense that if you're going to fake a dial why try to fake one with the sigma designation.? Any thoughts anyone. Thanks Chris

Beautiful, that's the first wrist shot I've seen of it! Here are the other 2022 green releases:

Floral motif:

Off-catalog blingy DD36...maybe bloodstone?

Green fluted motif:

Palm motif dial with new diamond option:

And now the mint green is available in 36 and 41mm sizes:

I have seen these green carousel DD dials listed as both enamel and as jade. Does anyone know which they are? (Perhaps “jade” could just be a description of the enamel color?)

5-digit Carousel dials are enamel. 6-digit Carousel dials are stone (jade or MOP).

That's a nice one, came out in 2013 on a strap. You're right it was strap-only for a couple years but eventually they offered it on bracelet too. I think there's one on a bracelet in this thread somewhere

Thanks Rob - You’re right about the 2013 year, idk why I thought these were out in 2002–3. Iirc, there were green and “cognac” 118138s in yellow gold, and red and blue 118239s in white gold, all with matching straps. (Interesting that the strap-only models’ cases have different reference numbers, 118138/9 vs 118238/9.)

I have a very vague recollection that the cases on these were slightly different, and would not accept the end links of a standard President bracelet. (I’m not sure whether this is true, or just my often-overactive imagination.)

I also believe the 118138 was limited to 500 pieces I believe. I remember it having something to do with the skin the band was made out of as well. Very hard to work with.

Interesting!

Do you know whether it was only the placement of the lug holes that changed on the 118138 models, or was it something different or more than that?
