I can't speak for the OP, but my beater daily over the last few years has been a BLNR. It's a mighty fine watch, and was chosen because it just does the 'beater' and 'only watch' thing so damn well.

But...

It's a Rolex. It's big. It's heavy. It's arguably the most recognisable watch on the planet. And coming from pre-bubble Patek sport (Aquanaut since 2000), it's... not... me.
