I understand that it feels bad to pay a lot for a brand new watch that has issues.
But I think a public announcement or recall just doesn't make financial sense for Tudor. As if anyone will sue them because their Tudor stopped working. It's just a luxury watch. Sent from my MI PAD 4 PLUS using Tapatalk |

Tudor GMT date jump again
This is not a life or death issue that a watch brand should tackle the way a car manufacturer do when a mechanical default is present.
Look at Rolex own 3235 slowing doing movement issue. No word no whisper no nothing. Watches are getting in, get fixed and back to the customer without any word. Tudor have been doing that and so far no one of us “gmt owners” has been asked to pay for the fix. As long as it continues this way I have no problem, they will find a permanent fix, I’m sure. What I understood from Rolex is that this issue is resurfaced it will always be repaired at no cost. The first time I sent it in the watch was sent to Switzerland and got back to me after 5 weeks, that was late 2018. The second time it happened, just a month ago, Rolex boutique called me just one week later to tell me the watch is ok and ready for pickup. I was surprised for the swift repair, it was clearly done in-house this time. Maybe they replaced the defective part or the movement, as usual no specific details at what have been done. Now it’s working fine. If it reoccur then will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All the rest is brand bashing and being sour for no reason. And NO, I have no sworn affidavit by the RSC or the AD but I'm sure they'll make it right if it ever breaks again. And even if they did refuse to honor their word after warranty expires, I can damn sure afford a servicing albeit a premature one and then I'll have another two years to bug the hell out of them for any hiccups. All this is much complaining for nothing, really. |

Now there's the truest comment on this thread.
Look, before the Tudor GMT, there were all kinds of issues with Rolex...the 3186 problem, the "tiny cyclops" days (lol, remember those?), and even with their vaunted 32-series movement. Question for the group: Do you recall Rolex ever stepping up and addressing any of that? Of course not. They just quietly fixed their mistakes and went on with life. 'Cause that's what most of us do. |

Two sitting in the case at my AD yesterday. Been there a month. She said having trouble selling "because of the date issue" which is kind of funny since when I took my GMT in the for date window problem they all acted like they had never heard of it before. Guess mine must have been the very first one, ummm hmmm...
More proof you should take anything the AD tells you with a extra large grain of salt. Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |

Don’t waste your time friend. This guy is a broken record. He is so salty he even brings up the BBGMT issue on threads that have nothing to do with it. |

I did unload it and gave it to a family member for exchange of doing electrical work on my house. He doesn't mind the broken date wheel. My pet peeve is that it was never properly fixed while under the two year warranty. As long as this date wheel issue persists, so shall I keep posting my experience.

This would drive me nuts to the point of selling my watch. I had a new IWC Doppelchronograph in the early 2000's where the stem came out after only a few months of ownership. Got it fixed by IWC and then sold it. It soured me on IWC to this day. Not very rational but that's how dissapointed I was.

This is the first time I have heard of this issue as I'm not on the board often. First, glad I never liked it enough to buy it. Second, had I bought it and this happened I'd ask for a refund or flip it. Even after it's fixed I'd still have that notion it could happen again.

Guys, it’s Tudor after all!
Why do you think they bought the rights to Breitling B01 movement? |
