I plan to reduce more but I still have around 20 watches including 3 Submariners. Not selling the Subs though.

I didn't work for watches for me either ... but my wife did quite a number on my closet

I've sold a few watches in the last year and am considering selling another one. It does help to focus things and enjoy what you like more.

I'm back lol. Today I met the gentleman who bought all my Omega two weeks ago. He sold everything except this one because in his words it's uncommon and 'too niche' and he offered me back with a robust discount. It was the only watch I regretted selling so I guess it's my lucky day.

Has there been a catalyst to this new perspective ?

The modern moser streamliner looks like it borrowed some of omegas design

I'd say many, Gus. Boredom, some difficulties on my personal life, lockdowns and covid, not being able to travel (the worst part) etc. I used to visit Amsterdam two times a year and I can't wait to be able to travel again. Anyways, today I got lucky and bought back my favorite Omega, so I'm glad to be back to this subforum

Great post. I moved away from Rolex through lockdown and into Omega and a couple of others. I sold my Panerai too. I now have watches I truly enjoy wearing. It feels healthy doing this.

lol that's why I like you buddy. Honest people are the best friends someone can have.

Yes the PO is gone. 45.5mm was way beyond a reasonable size for my chicken wrists that barely handle a 40mm Sub-C. The watch was not only big but also heavy, and the decorated caseback was not comfortable at all. I also sold the Speedmaster two counters. That one was great, lighter than the PO, had a sapphire caseback that was really comfortable, but 44.25 was too large for me. The thing is, my Chronostop is back, and I have unloaded many things not only watches, including 12kg now, so I couldn't have made a better decision and you can be sure of that my friend. Thank you for your sincere post. I really appreciate that.

Okay. That changes things, I didn’t know you had the larger size. I couldn’t do that size either. The 42 is where it’s at. At some point in my life the PO2500 in 42 will be my grail like watch purchase.
You have awesome tastes and it’s good you got back into Omega, very fortunate to still be in touch with the buyer. So congrats on the reincoming. Hagw.
