Then there is the warranty issue - an AD swapping crystals could become a nightmare (unless that AD is a Rolex certified servicing center). Not all ADs are certified.

its just a watch, enjoy it and no need to care about too much about the risk. the AD know what they are doing and they will take care of their VIP customers.

I wouldn't open new watch just to do the antireflection coating.

If you can’t tell the difference, then not worth the risk. And If your AD is willing to do that now (which, btw is so freakin weird), then he/she should be ok w the same deal at your first service - so would ask for that.
