I just got the same watch as yours in the mail today brand new but it has this very very loud rotor, I mean you can hear it anywhere in the room! Could you describe how loud is it on yours? I think I might have gotten a bad one! Old thread but maybe you get a notification, fingers crossed!! And thanks of course

I have two watches with this movement and I know a number of others who also do and they are all loud. Annoying as hell but normal.

I just took it to a local AD to see what they thought. They were kind enough to look at it and the sales guy took it to the watchmaker in the back and they were surprised by how loud it seemed. They don’t carry the LUC line there so they have not seen this particular watch. The watchmaker said it probably needs servicing lol. I hate to think I might have to return it because I think it’s so very beautiful but it’s like carrying a rattling grinding bell on my wrist. Could I DM you to share a video of it? Thanks again for your help.

The micro rotor in all Chopards from the LUC series rotates abruptly, making a lot of noise. When I picked mine up, I couldn't believe it. I saw two other watches with this mechanism at AD's and they all rotated loudly (a ticking sound when the rotor moves). These mechanisms are like that...
