When my 'nonna' made her lasagna and added thin slices of pepperoni in it, once backed, they 'rolled' or curled a bit, creating a 'cup'.. so this is not all so 'new'...but fun just the same...

Brought the wine to dinner. California restaurants are really good about letting you bringing your own wine with corkage fees between $20-$40 per bottle.

Very jealous of that. I worked a job in Columbus, Ohio for a few years and there they sold at retail plus corkage or you could bring your own and pay corkage. That was heaven.

Had dinner at a fish place tonight that has $1.25 oysters on Thursday night and $5 Corkage Fee! Drank a few beers but normally bring a chardonnay.
