Tonight we started off with a tomato, oregano, and mixed field greens salad with provolone cheese and a zesty homemade Italian dressing.

Brussel sprouts poached in chicken broth, then baked with dried cranberries, gruyere cheese, and topped with fresh-made breadcrumbs.

Rolled and stuffed chicken breasts with sauteed spinach, and gouda cheese, then pan-fried, finished in the oven, and topped with a special lemon sauce.

Delizioso!

I picked up a couple of grass-fed, start to finish tenderloins.

Served with sauteed portobello and shiitake mushrooms, with heavy cream, brandy, and gruyère cheese.

Crispy baked sweet potato fries.

Sauteed swiss chard.

Compliments to my Wife!

A fabulous evening with friends, who, the chef prepared a Rabbit dinner to feast on...
Red wine based, tender and so delicious, with mushrooms, fresh glazed carrots on noodles with au jus.. complimented by a most enjoyable Pietrame Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine..which complimented the dinner precisely. Followed up with his own Limoncello 'Terra mitsu' since our hostess can not have chocolate. It was Excellent.

Amazing dinner tonight. After nearly a month of clean 16:8 fasts (no alcohol), this was a great way to celebrate! A great 2008 Washington Cabernet Franc, bison tri tip, risotto, and green beans. Delicious!!!

Thomas- That's a real treat to have a friend prepare a meal like that. It looks so good and you can tell it was prepared with one special ingredient... LOVE.

My bride took off last minute this week to head to Montana to care for her dad after a surgery. He’s doing very well and I’m glad she’s there for him, but that blew up our Valentine’s Day plans. I went ahead and cooked dinner tonight and sent her pictures. Chicken Provance over mashed potatoes and a nice Washington Chardonnay.
