Era L'ora in Milan has some exquisite vintages, slightly above market value but fantastic curation. They have a website and Instagram handle as well.

Hi everyone

Does anybody have any experience with Oakleigh watches? They're a trusted seller on Chrono24... any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I bot a beautiful Rolex Presidential Ladies watch from Bernard Watch in TX. Purchase was done online and shipping was super fast. Their customer service was top notch and I am very happy with the watch. Recommended.

Another vote from me for Philippe at exoticwatches. Great communication and a pleasure to deal with. Picked up a stunning sub 5513 from him recently.

I have purchase several vintage pieces from David Kim at www.WatchesWithPatina.com @frongman4me and give nothing but the best of recommendations. Knows his stuff, excellent client care, and always has great pieces.

What you think about Fourtane in Carmel CA?

Made Business with Josh the owner and all was aways fine. Think the only official Rolex dealer with also vintage watches.

Any meanings?

See http://www.fourtane.com/store?catalogs=189662

Without question, my favourite vintage / AD. I live 200 miles away and always make an effort to visit (and purchase) regurarly. My favourite GTG was held there ( https://www.minus4plus6.com/GTG-Carmel.php ) and is my go-to AD.

People there are fantastic, many long time employees, and the family owners are fantastic as well. The place is a rare combination of being family owned, in a high rent district, and quality service, and who pushes Rolex to allow vintage prices shown in the same retailer as new pieces.

Fourtané sets the standard for all AD’s in the country.

Thanks for this list and thanks to everyone who’s contributed. A brilliant group effort. I’m new to the forum. I’ve got a simple, humble 1981 5500 air-king in the shop which brought me to the forum and here to vintage specifically. Lots for me to learn. Great stuff here. Cheers

Also got to thinking (as a watch of mine is in the shop) would it be useful to compile a list similar to this one for service providers—those shops who really stand out as doing great service work? Maybe even sub-categories, like especially good restoration work?

Just a thought from a complete newbie to the forum; I’m obviously not capable of starting such a thread or making a meaningful contribution (yet—let me buy a few more vintage pieces and I’ll let you know how it goes ;) )

I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out how to piece two bracelets together to make a big enough one for my wrist and having Rolex Repair Center recondition and service the watch.

Any of these specialize in Dallas? Have a friend that just inherited a 1960's Rolex GMT Master. Looks all original but in rough shape. Need some info on Repair work, Pricing, Valuation, etc?
