I was on a Navy ship drilling a X-09 that was hit by a hammer, drove the spindle in until it broke the cam was stuck in one place. They broke everything off the front of the safe on a Red label Diebold Mosler. I was able to have it opened in about an hour's time. The most time involved is having to wait on the Q deck for a 1/2 hour until the guy comes back from quaters.

Hijack!!!

Wanted to PM my reply, as to not clutter this thread...

Safetrends has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

The day went well, David. Thanks for asking.

Three jobs. Out at 9 and in by 2. I made my quota plus I worked Saturday and made another day's pay!

Quarterly tax due tomorrow...DANG!

If I don't pay it I could buy another Rolex!

What voltage dos the navy supply to you, or do you take a converted with you?

Obviously, the X0 damage was not an accident. WHAT were they thinking?! AND red labels are tough! A good job, at ±$800.00.

I was certified on the Mas-Hamilton X0s in the early 90's, when the X0s first made their debut. I believe young Mr. Hamilton was there for our class in The Burgh. Very small attendance and very hands on.

Since then, I've installed, and worked to trouble shoot, SCIF rooms, "war" (MSOF?) rooms, Overly vault, Diebold, and Mosler containers with it on them.

Who do the marines call when THEY need help? LOL!

"We'll go and get Craig for you..."

Here is my trunk, I mean truck...

Tear gas vials found in an old unit in the early 90s...

Another early 90s. X0-7 on an Overly class 5 (carbide included HP!!!)...

A very easy Diebold, about a year ago...

(Pay no attention to the bright spot in my life : ))))

Are you still on ClearStar?

(I made the font bigger so you could view it easier, with your old eyes, old man! Happy five-oh! )

I have 110V on all the war ships. This job when done was 2,450.00 including the X-09 lock. I have worked on all of the locks on the military bases in California for the past ten years since I came out of semi retirement (by comming back home to California), so by now nothing is a suprise to me. I have worked on all types of lock damage by the military, fired external relockers on money chests are a monthly thing here.
