I've asked AP about a Diver tang to match the black plots - no info yet. There's a questionably authentic DLC Diver tang with a $1400 price tag out there, but it looks no different than the $14 eBay knock-offs.

Which Audemars Piguet are you wearing today?

Just this old thing tonight. Something finally pulled me away from my seiko for a few hours.

Thank you! I’ve been around though I hang out mostly in the seiko forums. See my thread where I messed up my ROC last year, lol. (Thankfully Clearwater fixed her up)

I remember that thread now. I confused your user name with somebody else’s so I was surprised. Age I guess.

Either way a gorgeous watch!

Any chance of a pic that shows more of the strap relative to the case please?

Schumacher Ti

Color of strap totally changes the look. Any preference of Red vs Blue?

From what i can see, i think i like that on blue better!

In person, does the case and bezel look pretty similar to steel?

Case is Ti. Bezel is cermet and has color similar to Ti but it is very reflective like ceramic. Holds a mirror like finish well beyond the SS pieces.

still think thats probably the only 44 that i would buy. If i could get one i would have a real dilemma.

I doubt i can actually get it, so i can just pretend i would buy it

Blue is the right color strap for that one. Really like it. Great piece.
