Talked w/ Mark and met my watchmaker this morning and we're starting to get some firm ideas.

-We're looking at a dinner GTG on Tuesday [April 6th] evening.
-The Worldwide Traders Show [open to all, lots of emphasis on watches] on Wed [April 7th] @ The Drawbridge INN, Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
-For those who are members, The NAWCC Show set up on Thursday [April 8th, REMEMBER: you must be a member of NAWCC to attend the show]. The show runs Friday & Sat [April 9th & 10th].
-Friday [April 9th] @ Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, Ky.

Please decide on what you can attend and let us know so we can make arrangements. My watchmaker will talk to his client collectors who attended the Vintage Rolex GTG as well.

Should be a great time. Hope to see many old and new friends there.

In the mail today, I received 20 passes for free entry to the WWT watch show on Wednesday, April 7, in Ft. Mitchell Kentucky. This morning Dan (Pierce) and I discussed a GTG dinner the night before, Tuesday, April 6.
We plan to distribute the passes at the Tuesday night GTG. The pass will save you the $25 admission fee for the WWT show.
We should start a headcount of who will be attending the GTG dinner tentatively scheduled for the Montgomery Inn located next to the Drawbridge Inn. They have extensive menu and a full bar. This landmark restaurant is famous for ribs.
I would like to reserve a private room for our group for before dinner drinks and after dinner watch displays, dealing and conversation.
At our recent GTG in October, some fantastic collections were displayed. It was well worth the 250 mile drive for me. I suspect that this GTG could be even better.

To properly celebrate this in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky and in light of DP's poster he's designed, I think those who are not currently commissioned Kentucky Colonels should be commissioned. Would be a cool event to go to but expecting our first soon and have a vacation, several spring weddings, and Derby all in that time frame...going to be a pretty busy spring so maybe next year.

up and there were 14 pass for fort mitchell and other up coming shows

When is the drop dead date to get in on this GTG?

Trying to figure out my schedule and vacation days. The wife and I have a week trip to San Fran/Napa planned for May and my remaining 2010 vacation days are starting to disappear quickly.

The Montgomery Inn shares the same parking lot with the host hotel, Drawbridge Inn. Montgomery Inn is a signature restaurant in the Cincinnati/N KY area. They are famous for ribs and they also have a full menu and a great bar.
We would like to have a private dining room for show and tell before and after dinner. If you are coming, let us know. We need to make a reservation soon.
