Man my first Rolex was an Air King and I sat up all night and looked at it. It is a classic and all I ever needed. Problem is I found this forum.

here s mine. just got it and am having concerns I should have went with the perpetual instead. At less then a month old I m sure a trade wouldn t work.... Yours looks great too. I had the exact choice of yours and mine in my hands. Went with Silver as I thought it was different, but yours looks great too. Enjoy!!!

considered an AK myself… i like the smaller size of the watch which is not common these days on modern watches. looks great!

Yours look great on your wrist! Same situation, I was deciding between the silver or blue as well.

I did try on the 36mm OP, but the dial layout aesthetics was kind of off for me. I got used to the AK size quite easily, and the weight of the watch was substantial.

My Explorer 39mm now looks like a giant.

I have the exact same one. LOVE that watch. It's a nice change of pace from the larger watches I'm used to wearing. The combination of comfort and the classic design is hard to beat.
