The guy said one felt lighter than the other by hand, and everyone across the board said get a scale and weigh them. How is that falling for a ridiculous fantasy?

So clearly you think it's completely impossible that there's truth to the OPs statement. If you were going to weigh in on the thread (pun intended lol) why not just say "impossible", instead of basically telling everyone they're a bunch of idiots for falling for a ridiculous fantasy.

I always buy my Rolex's by weight. Usually a couple of pounds of SS, and half a pound of the PM's. That way, I always get what I pay for.

1) due to rolex updates. Could be change in bracelet but rolex do not release such information anywhere. Different batches may have updates.

2) oil and dirt accumulating on the older watch which makes it heavier. They also mentioned that after servicing, the watch is usually lighter as they clean the watch thoroughly.

Thanks everyone for sharing their opinions. I really do appreciate it.
That's a lot of dirt and oil
