Even my AD when I asked the price for the 5711 I am getting in a few months, gave me the list price of 21.000 CHF, and that is after buying from him a 5712 and a 5167R, but I will have 8% tax off, and he promised I would have the 2 coolest PP swag, the cigar cutter and cigar box for 2 cigars, already have the wallet and couldn't care less about all the other swag, so since I am getting these 2 things I didn't even consider asking for a discount, oh and finally I did decide to get the Daytona at the same moment, it will probably be my vacation watch together with the AP, same for the Daytona he gave me the retail price, but I am fine with that, am getting 2 very hard to get pieces with 8% VAT off, 2 cool PP swag, don't have intention to try to get a few hundred off the price...

White, I find it nicer than the black one which is still very nice, and it will be the only white dial I will have next to; 1 black, 3 blue and 1 brown

I thought I would pass, but I thought why not, it looks great, and it's always nice to have one in a small collection.
Thanks, not heading to Davos though, I am meeting the AD in Zurich for dinner saturday, he is bringing the watch and what he needs to size it.
But to be honest I didn't find Davo to be something great, typical Alps ski resort, I saw it once not long ago, prefer to see more of Zurich.
So Saturday night will have it, been really waiting for this one, hesitated with the AP44 but was a tad too big, this one seems just fine for me, hope to be right about it...

Sell 3 watches for a PP 5711?

Congrats Arnaud on the 5711 and Daytona C! The Daytona would be a great vacation watch.

My collection doesn't have any chrono in it and I'm looking to add the white Daytona C as the "experiment"... I want to find out if Chrono watches and me will get along. I passed on a black one, and first in line for a white one with my AD.

Did you contact rolex to see how long the dial change would take? On the new C daytonas Rolex allows you to purchase and interchange the dials while keeping the original

No discount on the PP so you decide to "buy" the DaytonaC, I see what you did there, mate, smart move.

You go all the way to Zurich and you couldn't do the 110 m train trip to Yverdon to see Kari?

That's very interesting. Sorry to be off topic, do you know if the new dials fit the 116520? I'm assuming they do as the watch is otherwise identical to the116500, apart from the bezel.

Arnaud, congrats on the incomings.

I wouldn't trade those three, but you do what you gotta to scratch that itch. When you get tired of the 5711, sell it to fund another set of three watches again, and so goes the cycle. Life of a WIS :-)

Not sure what you mean. I'm just waiting to buy the white dial Daytona C.
