I prefer the ceramic, it is interesting this poll has held around 70% pro ceramic so far. I think it shows Rolex knows their consumers.

I think it shows that many forum members are relatively new, so it makes sense that the preference would go to watches recently purchased at the AD. Five years ago, I think this poll would have been quite different.

To me, it's simply the difference between a more vintage aesthetic vs. a more modern aesthetic.

Indeed. A Maxicase or pre might yield different results also as many seem to tolerate the maxi because of the ceramic, clasp update and AD experience.

You can only truly answer this question after seeing the ceramic in the flesh.

X3. Even though I wasn't thrilled with the looks of the ceramic models beforehand, trying them on made me realize that they're too bulky and shiny.

I think the ceramic bezels look awesome. I also prefer the thicker lugs and new clasps.

Pre ceramic for sure. I still think Rolex should offer a non ceramic and ceramic sub..would add more choice..

Gotta go with the ceramic. Discovered something about myself in the process....I hate bezel scratches. Ok with the case and bracelet scratches. But the bezel face? That is like a scar.

I absolutely love my pre-ceramic sub, but would love to add a ceramic daytona...

Really depends on the model for me. Some are better classic, and some better more modern. Like most things, it just boils down to personal preference.
