Plebian is Latin..... It simply means "of the common people". It is also a term (plebe) that is affectionately used to refer to first year cadets at some Military Academies or in Boot Camp.. However, in some parts of the world words can have vastly different meanings than they do in other parts of the world, and simple words can be seen as personal insult or attack.. We'll recognize somebodies right (if there is one) to be offended... But then too, we always look for intent... Doesn't seem like there was any intent to offend anybody here.........yet... When that happens, as Mike said, some action may need to be taken..
