Having three of your 6 choices, my favorite is the WG SubC. It's a PM and I really like its flat blue color. I could wear it anywhere, anytime.
I also notice, it's not doing too well in the poll. Shows you what I know. I'm pretty sure it's the price that keeps the PM numbers down.

Not sure about that Richie. The OP asked a simple question: The best looking modern Rolex. Not the more exclusive, the one you want but can't afford etc. All Subs are great and the Smurf is a wonderful reference of course, but it has a flat blue dial - people like sunburst a bit more around here -, it looks like SS but with a yellow hue and not the white sharp look of 904 ss, and it has polished center links and I'm not sure everyone agrees with that on a Sub. So, with that said and IMHO, on looks alone the WG Sub doesn't hold a candle to the 114060 and I believe that's why the Sub-C is winning by a large difference.

This is like asking a bunch of college boys to pick the best looking Victoria's Secret model, and why.
There are so many good reasons to like so many of the Rolex watches, I don't think there will be a clear winner. Being new around here, I must say, Daytona get a lot more attention here amongst the enthusiasts than it does in the wild amongst general Rolex buyers. Submariner models win for me. To my eyes, it's a dead even tie between the BLNR and the 114060.

The BLNR would be my choice based on this list. The perfect blend of sport and dress and suits my lifestyle perfectly. The 114060 is also a very good choice too.

Of the listed options I'd say SubC but of the whole range I'd pick the DD40 YG with stick markers.

Look wise, I like the Sub C and Daytona C equally. It was the just the fit of the Daytona wins me over. The dome backing of the sub made it sit a little higher than I wish. I literally go to the dealer try out the sub c whenever I see those gorgeous sub c photos here. Then, I couldn't pull the trigger because it didn't sit well on my tiny wrist.

For me the case shape, size, lack of cyclops, dial symmetry. It's a very balanced look. That said I just love a diver and love having a diver bezel. It's much more convenient than operating the Daytona for mere timing of events.

overall subc, does everything and just works in so many scenarios. The others are definitely nice, but there is just something about how the subc does it's thing that's always impressed me.

I'm surprised to see the SubC out in front of the Daytona and Batman. It's a reminder that the voice of this forum (the active posters) don't align exactly with the average Rolex enthusiast.
