I'd like to see the GV in person and try it on. I'm still not sure about the new GMT IIc maxi-case on my little wrist. I am occasionally exposed to powerful magnetic fields, so the idea of a Milgauss is intriguing.

Have GMT-IIC ...was offered a GV at a dealer, but passed.
Not as versatile, and no date! |

I have the 16710 GMT already and am intriqued by the GV. I would need to play with both before deciding.

GV for me
If i bought a watch for the sheer practicality of it I would wear a Casio calculator watch. I like the clean lines and lack of clutter on the GV

GV for me
Also i get to play with fields up to 1600 gauss at work so it kinda makes some sense. id never expose the gv to that but it may get some mild exposure by accident. The GMTIIC is bloody handsome tho so im not trying to detract from that. Happy days Willie |

GMT IIC. Was not a fan. Went to an AD just to browse. They showed it to me. I tried it on. Unbelievable watch, unbelievable value for what you get. If there wasn't a bit of a scare on now in finances, I would own it.

Another vote for the GMT II-C here. While the green crystal is such an innovative feature and I have seen some amazing pictures of it, to be honest, I would rather prefer the traditional sapphire crystals. Plus, the GMT is more functional which is a big plus for me when deciding between the two.
