IMO, there is no excuse for not getting that timepiece back in the mail to the seller post haste. None.

The "buyers" lack of expediency is a blight on us all here and I personally do not appreciate it.

We all need to do some home work before we sell/buy, better to deal with members with good record, IMHO.

If that is a legit tracking number, all you need to do is go to the UPS website and enter it into their online tracker and you can follow the travel of the package.

I don't think it was a good idea to put that tracking number up here though as someone could use it to redirect your package to themselves!!!!!

This is you second mistake!

Gee-Wiz dude!

PS, I checked the number on usps.com and it showed no info. Either the number is wrong or it's not yet in the system.

this is what I got when I cheked the status: Sort of good news beccuase atleast the format of the number is correct ... and it is very common for UPS to not update their trackign system info for a day or so .... but if within next 24 hrs it doesn't showup on tracking, then start worrying ....

I think it's a shame people have been berating you for sending the watch without any money transferring hands.

Firstly, I think it is admirable that you have enough faith in human nature to send the watch without money changing hands.

Secondly, I think it's testimony to TRF that you put your faith in this site, whereby if someone is a member, you class them as honorable.

I hope everything works out for you.

I agree, I would ship a watch to many members here before payment.

seems like it's going to be a happy ending! i have a tracking number. i know it's not showing yet but i just called usps and they said there is a lot of times that sometimes they don't scan the item until it reaches the destination (isn't that sad) but i was told that my tracking number sounds legit. we have to wait until Monday.

i would never trade online i don't even look at ebay. But i find the members of TRF as very honorable. The guy is for real. gave me his home address his real name and i confirmed that. he's just pretty slow in returning it or i have high standards when it comes to that. since this is my first time dealing online it makes my kinda edgy.

Again, Chenx, I don't want to punch you while you're down but you're not using your head here. Take a few minutes and think things threw. Do not be naive.

I'm not saying this guy or anyone else is out to get you, but using these methods you will get burned, hopefully it hasn't happend already.

I hope all this works out for you. I can appreciate what you're going through. I myself, have always been the type to be early for appointments, try to always do a bit beyond whats expected. It's always disheartning to deal with people who just don't quite seem to prioritize things as we do. I guess we are Type A's, anal, OCD whatever but I prefer it.

I completely agree that this is admirable and a testimony to the quality of the great majority of TRF members. My displeasure is with the "buyer" and IMO what he apparently did or is doing is a pox on us all. I say apparently as the "buyer" has not come here to defend his

I consider my reputation more valuable than anything I own. I consider your reputation to be the most valuable thing I know about you. Once trust is lost by one member here, it impacts all of us that care about these things.
