Hard to compare the Tudor to a 16710. But then why buy it??

Glad you picked one up! The 16710 is a different kind of watch in that it is more refined and elegant. The Tudor provides a hint of vintage tied with a more rugged persona. They’re different watches, really.
I stupidly ditched my late model 16710 very early on for the IIC (before I understood about movements and appreciated the 3186) because I didn’t like the bezel font and dimension (I prefer the 16750 bezel size and font). With the Tudor, that bezel proportion is back (though I do miss the chunky Rolex bezel edge) and I sort of prefer the BB GMT to the 16710 (though not to the 16750). I would also recommend losing the Tudor nato. The BB GMT is great on a nato, but the watch is too too heavy for the Tudor nato — buy a heavier duty nato or switch to the bracelet; I think you’ll then have a different opinion of the BB GMT. I bought it on the bracelet, but I really liked the leather. I decided against it (despite preferring the leather, to be absolutely honest) for practical reasons: I never take my watch off, and leather doesn’t do well in water. I’m considering throwing it on my Bond nato, but the bracelet is growing on me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
