Hoo boy, what a steal that would have been. Ah well man hindsight is always 2020. Also Iv'e heard they were much more accessible a couple years ago.

I walked into my local AD, negotiated a discount and paid under MSRP about what you've just paid over. That was in early 2018. Later in 2018 I saw one more Polar in their window, and have seen none since, despite the window displays being half full. I suspect you've got yourself a good deal. This week.

Enjoy. It's a good 'un.
Oh man you must have a way with words getting an AD discount like that. You must teach me your ways

Columbia hey? I'm going to have to make my way out there someday and check out these stocked AD's!

Congrats. I bought a grey market, 3 month old black 216570 2 years ago and now need a white one. I have a polar 16570 but after wearing the 42MM it's tough to wear anything smaller. Hard to believe today what a "bargain" I got on the black dial 2 years ago. I called around pre-lockdown with no luck of course. Your deal doesn't sound bad, especially if you love the watch (which you do!)

Congrats on the Polar OP. If you plan on keeping it indefinitely, a few hundreds over Retail+tax won't matter one bit in the long run. Enjoy!

The 42 really goes feel like the perfect iteration to me as well man. Glad you have the black, both are beauties! Hopefully the newest polar becomes more accessible post pandemic so you can complete your desired pair man!

If I had to say I use one as my everyday watch, that is the one. I’ve had mine a little over a year. I paid $8,100 all in, delivered by mail, my name on the card.

Congrats on the Polar! Have had mine for 8 years and still love it to pieces; it’s well-worn and has been a great companion.

I had no idea these were commanding over retail, but as others have said you’ll soon forget about a small premium after wearing it. Enjoy it in good health mate.

What size are your wrists, buddy? Also, can you show some pictures at various angles of it on your wrist? I'm curious about this watch - one of the watches I'm considering purchasing.
