How big are your wrists? I’m debating whether to go 36 or 40 for the YG DD (7” wrist).

You have to go 40 with 7 inch wrists in my opinion. Don’t settle just because the 36 is cheaper

I do have an old Omega Chronostop 36 and quickly get used to the size (kind of).

Looks like I’ll trade the BLNR for a YG DD36 to have some variety in size.

Curious if there are may Platinum Day Date owners out there? Don’t see many on here.

White Gold in 40 is a great choice. The understated nature of white gold works great with the nice sporty proportions of the 40.

I don't own the Platinum but I've tried it on and man you will be shocked at the weight, if you've never tried on a platinum Rolex. Stick with YG for your 36. I know YG hasn't been the most popular choice but people are definitely coming around to it.

The 36mm size with yellow gold creates an elegance and plus there is nothing like 18ct yellow gold in the flesh. Heck, you know better than anyone that photos don't do gold justice. White gold is so much more dynamic than it "just looks like steel" but until you handle it in the flesh you can't appreciate it. 18ct yellow gold looks nothing like those fake gold fashion watches.

Finally got my Watch Grail!!

The 18238 - 1991 model. Full set.

Not much stretch in the bracelet and wears beautifully. Lugs are in good shape.

My wrist is small and even I find that this 36mm watch in all gold has a lot of wrist presence. Even though the links are hollow, the watch head is surprisingly heavy given the PM. This size is the max I think I would feel comfortable wearing out and about in YG.

I find the President even more comfortable then the Jubilee.

Today was a good day. I just always dreamed of owning this watch when I got into this hobby.

Thanks All.

Congrats and welcome to the 1823X Presidents club! My 18239 says hi!

Are all 18238 links hollow?
