The last one I’d part with is the Hulk

I would get rid of both the TT sub as well as the leather AP

I agree you have a solid collection even without the Elephant AP!

One has to go..

I went with the elephant! Posted on Watchnet so if anyone is interested let me know.

For those against the 5 digit sub -
1) resale value way less than the elephant.
2) fairly versatile - goes well with a suit or Jeans’s since there some gold there and it’s a bit smaller than the hulk.
3) gets more complements than any other watch I have (TT js ‘in’ for my demographic - 25-40 millennials).

I don’t think any id the rest got any votes - so I felt validated that they have specific places in the collection and are really nice watches in their own right.

I wouldn’t lose money in any of the deals so it’s not a sunk cost bias issue. The margins would all be roughly the same percent wise.

Man some of those pictures were really gorgeous.

That was going to be my vote. Best of luck with the sale!

I’d move the AP on leather.

Two Tone Rolexes are cool and starting to be in demand again. That black TT sub is a classic...

Best of luck with the sale! As a last ditch effort, do your wife have something you can sell instead? Otherwise I agree with the elephant

Shame to get rid of any of them, but I too would vote for the AP elephant to go.

Chronographs are already borderline cluttered, then to put a date feature ruins it .... I would dump both AP chrono’s. If I needed a chronograph I would opt for a Daytona it’s more refined not bulky and cluttered.

I’m thinking the AP elephant? I bought it thinking I’d never get the Hulk... Its too expensive to be a daily, yet too sporty to go with a suit.
