Rolex offers nothing even close to this. There is no green professional model that's solid gold that can actually be obtained these days. Am I making a mistake if I go for it?
Do you love it? If yes, can you afford it? If yes, buy and love it! If no to either, don't buy it.

This Watch should definitely have a solid gold case back! Their just saving money on materials!
That movement needs masking tape over it! It works great and does its job but it's not a looker!

If the resale value sucks, I wish I could find one for less than MSRP right now. I LOVE the watch.. Compared to the price of a gold YM, it is very fair (and I find this one much prettier.) The green is stunning IMO

How do you know "resale is garbage"? Are they even in stores yet?

All it takes is one off the cuff "Talking Watches" comment by the right person and people may be scrambling for it.

Always nice to buy what you like.

For the sake of watch enthusiasts, I’m bummed that you need to consider resale value or trying to invest in a watch. Unless you’re getting a select few models, keep your investments in real estate or the stock market since they’ll appreciate quicker. Buy the watch if you like it and can afford to enjoy it. Don’t join the hype craze of wanting a watch like a Daytona just because the market value or something is higher. If this Tudor is something you really like, get it. You only live once is my motto.

Can I just ask... how many of us buy a car with resale in mind? Most autos lose abouit 50% of their value in 3-5 years. That could add up to tens of thousands of dollars. How often does one say, 'I want to buy the ___ because it's the car that's most likely to appreciate.' I find the whole discussion about the long-term value of any watch just intriguing. YMMV
