Thanks for asking. I took early retirement, got my Tudor watch as a trophy, and discovered Rolexforum. Then I discovered this thread and the world of premium cologne. I had been using Jovan Musk for Men for the last few decades. I found Costco had great cologne for bargain prices. So far I've gotten Creed Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain Water and Millesime Imperial. I've had them for about 6 months. I just got this Spicebomb a week ago. It's very different than the Creeds. It's not as sweet/citrusy as the others. Spicier, Muskier, and more of a Winter fragrance. Because i don't work in an office anymore, I actually haven't got a single compliment yet. I'm mostly doing this for myself. It's a luxury I have never experienced in my whole life until now. I find it a great treat and reward for myself. I am looking forward to future compliments but will enjoy it on my own until then! |

I just go to a BBQ smokehouse over lunch and it seems to leave the musk (and satiety) I desire.
But seriously, some impressive collections here. I have enjoyed Tom Ford Oud Wood and Creed Silver Mountain over the years, but very rarely have the opportunity to wear them. |

I love creed Aventus and fellas comment on how nice it is, however the only one woman have commented on is K by Dolce & Gabbana. It’s halve the money of Creed (no it’s a 1/3) and the lid is a crown

I just got my first bottle of Aventus. I just tried it for the first time and absolutely love it! It is here posing with his brothers: Viking, Virgin Island Water, Silver Mountain Water and Green Irish Tweed along with his cousin, Viktor & Rolf Spice Bomb. I had held off on purchasing Aventus because of the high cost. I got all the others from Costco and Jomas Shop for bargain prices. That is exactly why I have been able to get so many over the last year. I heard about the upcoming price increases so I was motivated to get some quickly. I am very grateful to a forum member who recommended to get a 100ml Sample from Olfactory Factory. I quickly pulled the trigger and a batch of 20B11N was on its way. As of this post, there is exactly one sample left at the great price. Props to OF for great prices, large inventory and quick shipping.
I have my collection posing with a souvenir Pineapple that we got in downtown Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii, United States. I think of our amazing pandemic vacation trip we had last November whenever I see it. Also, a Dole Pineapple from Costco. Thanks again to forum members for sharing information. I am down to four bottles:
1) Green Irish Tweed (GIT), worn most days 2) Bleu de Chanel (EDT), worn when taking a break from GIT 3) Mugler Cologne, occasionally worn after exercising 4) Guerlain Vetiver, almost never worn, purchased only to get my nose around vetiver. Once the GIT runs out, will probably get either Creed’s Royal Oud or Bois du Portugal as the next daily fragrance. Love both of those. |

Creed Aventus
Parfums Vintage - Intense Gold Bleu de Chanel I'd like to explore some other CREED. I feel like Aventus is very well rounded, what would you guys recommend If I were to pick one up for summer and one for winter? |

Definitely smell before you buy ever since the recent banning of certain chemicals (Lyral which is huge) widely used in production. They've been scrambling to reformulate and the scents aren't quite the same. Creed tried to scam everyone with an anniversary Aventus release and touted a slightly more robust scent profile. Which was just the "new" Aventus reformulated. I'm going to avoid the whole "Batch # " Rabbit hole but it does smell and dry down differently. TF(Estee Lauder) reformulated as well and perhaps co incidentally my last 3 (Bitter Peach, Tuberose Nue and Soliel Brulant) bottles of the new private blends have given me migraines. All this being said....

After many years with some of the same creed fragrances (started aventus, then green tweed, etc.), i’m now hooked on green neroli. Perfect summer go to.

Acqua di Parma...
It has a delicate balance of salty cured prosciutto hints with ever lasting aged parmesan grano overtones... women love it |

recent acquisitions have been Terre D'Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver. I much prefer it to the original. And Armani Prive Figuier Eden, which is one of the only mainstream fig fragrances that I know of, I really love a different fresh fragrance that's not citrus or soapy.
