I realise you are not a fan of this person because of his prediction hit rate but in the end, his pictures were correct. So a sliver of humble pie might be in order? Or hat, you said you'd eat your hat.

That, plus this watch sort of has to be PM, as it can’t really be SS. If this watch came exactly the same way but in SS, it would HAVE to be priced cheaper than a sub, as it would build-wise be exactly the same (SS body, ceramic bezel) but with a rubber strap instead of bracelet. Very few would buy it for the same price or higher than a sub when it doesn’t have a bracelet. But at that lower price, this watch would probably steal a lot of sub sales, as it’s larger (average buyers want that), and is the new hotness with the matte black bezel. So, Rolex makes it in PM to keep that from happening. Plus, partial or full PM construction is a characteristic of the YM family anyway, and with a ceramic bezel there’s nothing but the case left to be PM.
