Oh man, wish I hadn't opened this thread.
Do Rolex still do the ice blue dial with the concentric circles on the DD2?
The Rolex site appears only to show a plain dial .

I am smitten but would need to let go of my WG sub to get one and am unsure if that's a good move.

Yes and that's a tough one but I would do it, nothing like a platinum President on your wrist.

Better to save and have both.

Yes, the glacier blue dial with concentric rings (like Mike's/Kilyung's) is still available on the DD2. I find the Rolex website extremely difficult to navigate to find all the various combination of models, but the catalogue my AD has clearly shows the dial as available.

I normally prefer the 36mm version but for that one I'd go for the 41mm if I was you.

Not that I can afford it but I had the chance to try them both and I liked the 36 mm best. More balanced for me.

However, I kind of agree with Mike. The DD-II is probably a bit more versatile, but it all depends on your style... I really see nothing wrong with a jeans, a polo, and a DD!!

All this being said, you are pretty safe here because you can't go wrong with either!

Thanks. Still need to think about letting go of the Sub, no way I could have both.

You're right Larry! I seem to recall this as well. That would be a game changer for me

Do like the DDII, each link of the bracelet has a ceramic insert.
