I like the colour combination but it's a very busy dial. Maybe in person it won't be so bad. Guess we'll have to wait & see. Any other dials or is this the only one? I skimmed through the 3 pages so my apologies if I missed this already.

Love the size and dial colours. Just not sure on the dial itself. But glad the air King is back.

It looks like the Bloodhound SSC instruments Rolex made, and that's fine. Not exactly Battle of Britain, but it'll have to do. Doesn't mean I'm gonna buy one though! Too much "muchness" going on there

Thanks for the live shots! I LIKE IT!!! I know the dial is somewhat unique/different but I think they must've had to do something like this to differentiate it from the Explorer1 and also the OP's... because at a glance(for me) it's hard to differ from 39mm to 40mm and also, with these models in the past, the only things that differed these models apart were the "AirKing" logo and the 34mm size... but now that they upped the size they must've had to make some bold changes to differentiate it... I don't know about anything else but I like the green Rolex logo and second hand and the white second plots in contrast to the black dial giving it a sporty/masculine pilot watch look! Plus I like the 40mm(wouldn't have even minded it in 36 or even 39mm)~ Interested to see it in a blue dial as well~ Just glad the AK is back~

The 3-6-9 makes little sense. A bizarre dial. I had such high hopes......

Eeek, looks super fake with those colors! They really want to move people above the bottom of the range with this move :)

Oh god, I'm coming around. I like the fact it looks like the bloodhound but I'm still not sure that's the connection they should have gone with. I don't think I'll be on the waiting list though.

It's unique!

And I think different, in a pleasing kind of way. It seems good value for a Rolex as well.

No longer the entry level price though. I'm happy about that.

I also kinda like the idea of this one dial, sorta like the explorer.

Now that I've had a few hours to think about it, I'm onboard, I don't want one yet, but I'm onboard. There was some initial shock of "what have they done?!?", but now it has subsided.

Here is where the dial came from.

I just read the blurb on their site and it makes more sense now.

I LOVE the green/yellow. Classic Rolex. But the dial is a bit busy for 40mm.

Liking it more and more! As I see all the angles of the website pics (thick case), plus knowing it has a magnetic shield and its 40mm, I'm now wondering if its basically a Milgauss with new dial?

Anyway, good to have another quirky, colorful choice along with then Milgauss. Tons of more staid options if that's what one wants.

The case looks identical to the Milgauss case. 40mm, polished and a bit thicker.
I dig kinda it! But wouldn't buy.

I think it might have looked better with the minute markers about 1/3-1/2 smaller. It's not like you need to read them to tell the time anyway.

I love it! I already own a Milguass so I need to see if it is significantly different in the flesh before ordering one.

Since Rolex is replacing the Explorer 369 with lume, so why not put it in AirKing?
