Keep in mind it's not the Skydweller per se.

But it is supposedly an exclusive feature of the PM Skydweller. For that, one must pay a hefty premium.
The same dynamic principal applies to the Glidelock. If one wants the top of the range/full featured version, one must purchase the DSSD as it's exclusive.

The vertically aligned Corronet logo on the Winding crown is a totally frivolous want.
No one can see it and it doesn't impact the functionality of the watch.
Further to this, it seems only an issue to newbies and or people who frequent this forum where it's whine central.

Mine points to about the 10 o'clock position. Its never annoyed me exactly, but I do kind of wonder how hard it could possibly be to make it line up to 12 from the factory? Surely can't be that difficult and it would be a nice touch.

Considering the inherant obstacles to achieving your desired outcome with the current design.
How much is it worth to you in monetary terms?
Are you going to be happy with the full amount of the extra cost to be spread across all models that feature this little nicety?
Are you going to be happy with reduced supply as a result because current staff will have to be dedicated to meeting your want?
Would you/yourself be happy to be working on the line that's dedicated to this most mindless task day in day out because of the tedious, boring and specialized nature of your want?
Have you/yourself ever indexed threads on three separate components with the sole purpose of having one of those components "line up" with more than one of the threads being in a blind hole and still meet the relevant water proof requirements?
If so, how long do you think you would go before you start asking for some medication to help you through the day or you'll top yourself?

That's all before the watches start coming back under warranty because of the "missalignment" which adds nothing to anything functionally.

It used to bother me, but not any more. Of the 5 Rolex I have owned, Only the ND Sub lined up perfect.
