White gold. But to specifically answer your question, I prefer yellow over rose. Rose looks to copper to me.

Pink gold but I haven’t tried many and I’ve never had a chance to compare them side by side.

I assume you’re referring to vintage and/or neo-vintage references? I say that because the newer rose alloy was developed to thwart this and ensure its luster. I mean, it’s called ‘Everose’ for a reason, right?

Depends on model. Gmt in rosegold. Daytona in rose with chocolate dial or yellow gold with green dial. Day date gold with bright green dial or rosegold with olive. So both I guess but largely depends on dial color for me

Yellow Gold is more attractive but going for something less attractive is the Everose Gold.

Yellow gold for me: I could have bought this today, at my AD:

I prefer stick markers to diamonds on this one, not to mention that I don’t have a spare $38,000.00 + CA sales tax sitting around, 2 weeks before my very pricey wedding. I def would need the 36 mm size, though, which this is.

Truthfully, this watch did not wow me. As much as I love diamonds, I didn’t care for them on this piece. I did like this one, though:

This one was NOT available for immediate sale.

Just personnal taste…
Personnally, I never liked gold as a colour.
Everose gold is ok, but I think it suits women better.
White gold is nice. But then again SS offers better properties for a much lower cost…
Titanium is really cool though, love the light weight and darker look…

For me, it's typically Rolex in yellow and white. That said, there's no denying the allure of some stunning rose gold pieces.

I don't prefer Rose over Yellow. They can both look great on different watches. Rose Gold on a Daytona and Yellow Gold on a Submariner.

This is the rule of thumb I also learned at some pt.

I prefer rg, as I find it more muted HOWEVER I know this is blasphemous in this section but OMEGA moonshine gold is a bit more pale so that’s also an amazing choice for those that don’t want to rock a yg bluesy etc. white/Platty is my favorite overall.

I don’t know white or black, but I’m an Asian with relative pale skin tone comparing to my ethnic group, and rose gold looks cheap on my wrist almost like polished brass.
Yellow gold is really good on me but a bit too loud. I’m struggling between YG and WG the other day at AD. They offered me a WG DD on silver dial, as much as it’s stealthy it’s a bit underwhelming. I think dial color also makes a difference. I registered my interest on a DD40 WG with olive green dial to see how it goes if it ever comes

Yeah your comments are consistent with my point. Paler/lighter skin is a match for yg. That white gold olive is bananas and would be an amazing watch for you.

This VERY much depends on skin tone. I have a reddish undertone to my skin & rose seems to fade into rather than pop. Fairer & dark skin seem to make rose POP IMO.
