It is pretty good, though I’ve just had a small glass so far. If you had the Kirkland 18 or 20 Speyside sherry cask releases and liked those, this is worth a shot. It’s noticeably darker and you definitely notice the sherry casks.

I just bought Compass Box The Spaniard today. Islay has my heart but I've been more in the mood for a good Highland or Speyside lately. My favorite distilleries are Talisker, Bruichladdich, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, and Glenmorangie. Bruichladdich Black Art 1990 is the best whisky I've ever tasted. I just finished my bottle and hated to see it go.

DMac, at that price its a def sipper.. Its damn good and my first Mac, even the wife liked drinking it. The edition2/orange is a collector, even more coveted is the edition 1.

That Caribbean Cask is a favorite! I'm still diving into Scotch (mostly a Bourbon guy...) and I've found that one is accessible and slightly sweet, which lends to my bourbon-heavy palate.
