Whoa, Andy - we're on thin ice here. I just thought he was a lawyer.

It's not clear at all. What, pray tell, might the correct context be?

This ought to be entertaining.

I really do not appreciate the Jewish comment. If you want to talk about a personal attack on someone that would be a direct one. I can see now that you are hell bent for some reason on personally attacking me? When it comes to fairness as a moderator you have miserably failed. So go get your dictionary out and fire back some big words so we can all be impressed while I sign out for the last time.

You have to learn to manage your anger there - you're getting so mad you can't even get your facts right now. Did the Jewish comment come from me, and if not, why tie it in with personal attacks from me? Looks like another one of your shifty semantic games, and you already know I won't let you get away with that.

Thanks for taking the time to review my moderation - just as well I, unlike you, don't depend on the views of others as a crutch.

Now, what context were you claiming? I'm still waiting to be amused.

Still one of the funniest around. Love it!

You will sit there and just allow a religious attack on a forum member ?That was just as direct as the one you claimed I made.
Also why haven't you deleted this thread as you said you would I really think it is time!!

I'm giving Advocatia the opportunity to respond, the same as I've given you. The difference between you and Advocatia is that Advocatia has been here for long enough to demonstrate that he can address issues in an adult manner. On the numerous occasions when we have disagreed on things, Andy's always been upfront and mature, and that's why I cut him the slack I don't cut you. Whether you learn something from that or continue bleating is entirely up to you.

As for not deleting this thread, I'm more than content to let you continue digging your grave with every post. You have no control about whether this thread stays or goes, but you do have control over your own posting. Take a deep breath, count to ten and think about it.

I'm thinking that Advocatia was making a pun about the word "semantic" which deals with structure and meaning of language. I've re-read this whole thread and don't see any intended anti-SEMITISM in any of this.

Holy smokes! Is this reall about a watch and uncertainty about how someone is going to interpret owning it. Most of us got our Rolexes by being financially RESPONSIBLE!

Ok, maybe my second and third Rolex were spontaneous, but jeez, I didn't rob the retirement account to buy them.....

This has been wild!

Hey, you know it, I know it, but real dill here needs to either get a dictionary or a sense of humour.

I really think we should close this thread. It has gone long past the point that watches of any kind is the subject.

Yup, the thread was pointless in the first place because real dill had made up his mind before asking the question.

It appears that he's got nothing left to say, so I'm closing this thread.
