Ha! Kudos to you guys homing in on the possible reference.

I just clicked on the teaser and I could barely tell that the thing in it is a watch. If I wasn't paying attention I could easily have mistaken it for an advert for Gillette's newest razor blade.

Can anyone check trademarks? In 2012 Rolex registered the sky dweller name for their new model. If there are no new trademarks I doubt there’s a new model.

I see the disk, but I'm not convinced it's for a fourth hand. The SD43 has a similarly broad disk for its hour hand.

Cheers

It can’t be GMT, Daytona or even Explorer 2 since these models were released in this decade.

I reckoned it is the Sub Date model turn now with this new release. Not the Sub No Date because the dial indicates it is a Date model. Now whether the bezel is black or blue, I wonder why the blue flash in the video clip. Could be two models of Sub.

As to the speculation of a Milgauss with something similar to the original 50s bezel and case, that guess is plausible at this point.

Not familiar on the yacht master but I do know Rolex releases new models this decade. So that may not be the case. Same conclusion on DJ41 and DD40 which were all released new in this decade.

Let’s the excitement begins!

Very interesting...super excited to see what it is! I’m also guessing a sub.

If the video is of the lug (which we all believe to be) watch carefully the bottom right of the screen. That “should” be a strap, and it obviously doesn’t look like a bracelets....maybe oyster flex?

If watching the video on your phone, try flip the phone upside down when watching it or on the side can you see any thing different?

One thing to note is that there do not appear to be white gold markers around lume plots for hour markers.

Could be true but last year when they teased the Pepsi, they cropped out the case and left the jubilee visible only. Could be the same here

When I see the dial shot it feels like a Submariner but those lugs are YM’s.

TBH, I’m actually more excited about Tudor this year than Rolex. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I watched the video several times and if you look at the bottom right of the dial part of the clip below the minute hand, it looks like a sub dial. 2 definite rings are there. Anyone else see it?
That throws off my YM hopes.

Edit: I just looked at it on the Rolex site, you cant see the dials I am referring to, at least on my desktop. I can easily see them on my phone/Ipad.

So what do you think the potential investment value is, should I sell my blue 5711 for this?

My guess is a red Submariner. It's the anniversary of the 1680.
