Right now I'm seriously debating between getting either the 35-02 TPT Quartz or a 11-02 Ti

I usually prefer the 35 to the 11, but clearly not the 35-02, so I would get the 11...

Why don't you like the 35-02? Is it because of the see through caseback or tpt quartz?

When the stock photos of the 35-02 were released, I didn't think it would look as good as the original due to similar changes being made to the 055 (I would very much prefer the original over the NTPT). However, I actually really like the new Nadal and love the TPT Quartz case.

Both really, first I don't like the red case, second the see through case back is not made for everyone, people who have no or little hair on the wrists can wear it, but when you see very hairy guys wearing a 055 for example it always seems off to me, you see the watch and in the dial these black wrist hairs, sorry for the owners of such pieces who are hairy, no insult intended, just seems off to me, in any case even if the casebook was closed I would not get a red watch, when I was seeing the Hulk on other people or in pics I really liked it, when I got one after a few days I really didn't, too green, so can imagine the RM...

Yeah I really like the changes they made to this. It'll be either this or a Ti 011 (just ruled out the gmt for the $ premium) for my first RM. However, judging by the initial reception of the 35-02 I'll probably have to wait a year until they become more available.

I completely understand the tpt quartz comment. When I saw the stock photos I figured that it would not be for me and that I would prefer the ntpt. However, it has been the other way around. Regarding the hairy wrists, I never thought of that before! That's a very interesting point that I haven't given much thought about as I have little hair on my wrists and when I tried on the 055 last year, I thought that the see through aspect of the watch was a nifty feature.

Well didn't see it in real, so hard to say though I don't think I would be interested in any way, about the hairs yeah it's kind of funny when you see pics

Definitely get a look at it on your wrist. I tried some RMs on at Bal Harbour and the see through case back models looked horrific on my somewhat hairy wrists. Looking forward to your incoming

Spent some time in the Los Angeles boutique this morning.

They had some interesting stuff, that RM-11 last edition is really growing on me.

No pictures, and the woman wasn't very helpful, but still fun.

Not heard anything to back this up. But my logic is thinking limited production numbers, more publicity with the F1 connection. More people liking models. I've recently fallen in love with the RM030 black night or black dash model, can't quite remember which one its known by, black with red accents and bordering around the dial, any i digress. But the popularity and desire for a limited number of pieces would surely push prices up? The whole have money will pay mentality maybe.

Question for Roger, Edo, Jerry, John AND/OR any experienced RM fans:
I am sure this question has been addressed, but just to refresh the topic
with any upcoming news for new models...

Is the RM 35-01 everyone's consensus as the best RM to get for around
$100-$120K (or less)?
RM 55 black is nice as is the RM 11...
Is there another consideration without having to go above $120,000?
Or worth waiting for?

I should add, looking for the most robust and durable model (in this price range) for golf, beach, tennis, etc.
RM is going to be my beater...LOL... Actually kinda not kidding, but I will wear it on many other occasions too.

Probably will be a year for me to save up, but definitely want to add one of these beauties ;-)
Currently leaning either RM 35-01 or RM 55 black (and lots of straps..LOL).

Thanks!
