Some more luck with my local liquor store lately. Haven’t seen Yamazaki on shelves in a bit. At least not the 12 usually the more expensive ones sit for a while.

I’ve passed this one on the shelf so many times, finally figured I’d give it a try. Got something to pair it with too.

I just saw this thread so I apologize if I’m late to the game. I’m also not a huge whiskey guy but I want to indulge in the hype and I’d love to get my hands on a bottle of Stagg Jr. Any leads on acquiring one? I’m in Southern California

I should probably take a break from this forum (and specifically this thread) for my wallets sake! The costco price was too good to pass up, though. 20210202_090734.jpg20210202_102324.jpg

Check out mission liquor. They ship (at least in CA). Their prices are usually better than most and they are high volume so they get all the top shelf stuff. I typically find that only Costco can beat their pricing, when Costco carries a similar product.

I believe batch 15 just came out in December. I was able to get a bottle for $179 here in NJ. Way, way overpriced but I’ve heard worse.

Thanks for the heads up. They are also selling it quite high. It’s a $50 bottle selling for $159. I don’t mind paying a markup but that’s too much for me.
