So you have a pacemaker now? And the docs are going to see if you no longer need it?

Did you have to have coronary artery bypass surgery?

You've been through a lot - poor girl.

Sounds pretty serious indeed Cecilia...

Were those heart attacks massive? I mean did you pass out from them or did you feel a lot of pain? I know some people who had heart attacks and at times they would just suddenly feel tired as they weren't too painful, it's still something to take seriously but sometimes it hits you much more.

The car has been excellent Carl, I love it. Not been driving fast or anything, but been on a couple of trips and the engine sounds good, when getting up to motorway speed. Will have to take a couple more photos.

There was a couple of stone chips on the bonnet that I decided to tackle myself, but wish I had taken it to a body shop now. Bought a kit and today applied the paint then some clear coat on top. Tomorrow I have to wet sand the area, which will make a dull spot but polish should bring it back. But don't think I have the guts to take sandpaper to it now.

So glad you are on the road to recovery. Sounds like atrial fibrulation? My mom has that, and they are trying to regulate it. Hopefully you will both be all fixed up very soon.

Glad to know you enjoy it and I wish you good luck with the sandpaper! Speaking from experience, don't stress if you want to avoid mistakes. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Hi Everyone....

Cecilia...I had no idea you had a heart attack! SO glad you are here posting though so seems like you are doing ok. You mention that the docs need to set your heart up..sounds like you need a pacemaker or an internal defibrillator...something to shock your heart if it goes into a lethal rhythm. Whatever they are going to do, I hope you feel 1000% better afterwards.

I didn't get so lucky after my weekend with the snot machines aka my niece and nephew, their cousins and my girlfriends kids. I have a raging cold. I went to work yesterday not feeling too sick but not feeling to great either. Then as the day progressed, I just got worse and everyone was staying away from me. LOL I thought I better not go, would be the responsible thing to do. So Im indoors today. I can breath somewhat, heavy, but ok. Thankfully not the flu so I should be up and at em sooner rather than later.

Ive been having some vision changes, probably about a month now. But with the holidays and everyone being on holiday hours, wasn't easy to get in for an appt. Im not sure if my present glasses are too strong now or too weak. I have an eye exam on Monday night so we will see how the chips fall. I mentioned I probably will need new glasses and got a dozen opinions yesterday at work. LOL I have never tried frameless or half rim so I might try that. I think I look somewhat intelligent with my present frames. LOL But maybe Im tired of the brainy look and might go blingy with rimless and some Tiffany bling arms. Guess I'll know once I get my new prescription in hand and go out trying them on. Ill post a pic of me with and without glasses then I can get some opinions. LOL Just be gentle.. Will do that after my nap..LOL I feel like Im 2 yrs old...or 80.

Wes...can you put plastic coating on the bonnet of the car? I forget what its called formally but they heat shrink it to the car. Mine is made by 3M. So far, its been great and I do a lot of highway driving. I have it on my outer mirrors, inside the wheel well...everywhere..LOL They thought I was nuts when I bought my car, but hey, no rust and its 7 yrs old..looks great. They did go above and beyond and put it on places they normally don't because I asked and they wanted to sell the car.

OMG you are so young too! You would expect somebody like me to have one...to fat...smoke cigars...I guess my love for animals turned me into a vegetarian may have saved me from one. I guess a heart attack can happen to anybody.

I see many 37-38 yr old average framed people having heart attacks. Its not exclusive to older people as was once thought. And yes Greg, it can happen anytime, anyplace, anywhere.

Well...Ive been confined to the house and public free for almost 3 days now. Im going stir crazy! I feel better today and I hope I get out, even for a short drive just to get out. I don't think Im contagious anymore but I would feel bad if someone got sick because of me. Its another lonely day. Eh..theres always the phone and messaging. LOL

I relooked my pictures. Im not posting any of them up. LOL I need a new set of selfies and with the red nose I have now, its not happening. LOL LOL

Have a great Sunday all.. :-)

Im getting tired of Apple-monkey....I need to change that..

Judy, get brave and post up a piccie!

I have a drawing to share with you guys. Phoebe is applying to a school that requires her to submit a portfolio of her artwork. She has to include a portrait, and I was trying to remember what I'd learned in school to show her a little bit about how to go about it. It's been probably 25 years since I've sat down and actually tried to draw anything beyond doodles.
